What is an MD (Managing Director)?
An MD (Managing Director) is a senior-level manager responsible for the management part of the organization. They make sure that the everyday operations in the organization are running smoothly. They oversee how all the departments are doing in terms of daily activities and achieving short-term and long-term goals. Every department manager sends reports of the work done to the MD. They are responsible for ensuring there is no hindrance to the growth of the company. To make this happen, they bring in innovative, creative, and smart ideas. It’s also the MD who takes the initiative for the expansion of the company. An MD usually reports to the CEO or board of directors.
