ESIC vide Circular No.-P-11/12/Misc./1/2019(M)-Rev.ll extended the timelimit for depositing August -2022 contribution till 22nd September 2022
ESIC vide Notification No. S.O. 4340(E), implemented the provisions from Chapter IV (Contribution), Chapter V (Benefits), and Chapter VI (Adjudication of Disputes and Claims) of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (ESI Act), in all the areas of Krishnagiri, Tiruchirappalli, and Perambalur districts in the State of Tamil Nadu, effective from 1st October 2022.
ESIC vide circular dated 22.09.2022 informed all Regional and Sub Regional offices that the maternity claim can be submitted through online. The Insured person UAN shall be seeded in the portal for availing the online submission.
ESIC vide circular U-13/14/SOM/ATR/38/21 dated 09.09.2022 regarding availing of medical services by Delhi/Noida ESI beneficiaries from any dispensary located in Delhi/Noida under “Kahin Bhi Kabhi Bhi”.IP’s of Delhi/Noida may visit any dispensary irrespective of dispensary allotted on the beneficiary card
Building and Other Construction Workers
The Government of Gujarat, vide Notification No. GHR/2022/121/LED/TBA/e-file/11/2022/1366/M3, amended the time limit for the issue of Registration Certificate under the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2003, from fifteen days to thirty days from the date of application, effective from 17th September 2022.

Minimum wages revised for the scheduled employment in the listed states
- The Government of Jharkhand, vide Notification No. -2/MW-2071/2010, L&T-1208, revised the VDA rates, effective from 1st October 2022.
- The Government of Kerala, vide Notification No. DES/859/2022-P3(1), revised the Consumer Price Index (Cost of Living Index) Numbers, updating the rate of variable dearness allowance for all the industries in the State of Kerala
- The Government of Uttarakhand, vide Notification No. 3367/4-01/13 has revised the Minimum Wages effective from 1st October 2022
- The Government of Telangana, vide Press Note, released the increased consumer price index for the period 1st October 2022 till 31st March 2023.
- The Government of Andhrapradesh vide Notification No. G/723/2022 notified the consumer price index for the period 1st October 2022 till 31st March 2023.
- The Government of Madhya Pradesh, vide Notification No. 1/11/Five/2015/39378-627, revised the minimum wages effective from 1st October 2022
- The Government of Gujarat, vide Notification No. 657/677/2022, revised the Minimum Wages dearness allowance f effective from 1st October 2022
- The Government of Bihar, vide Notification No. 5/M.W.-40-16/2021-L&R-3808, revised the VDA effective from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023
- The Government of Chhattisgarh, vide Notification No. 08/2022/5811, revised the VDA effective from 1st October 2022 to 31st March 2023
- The Government of Uttar Pradesh, Vide Notification No. 958-65/Pravartan-(M.W.)/15, revised minimum wages effective from 1st October 2022.
- The Government of India, vide Notification F. No. 1/16(1)/2022-LS-II, revised Central Minimum Wages for various categories including, construction or maintenance of roads or runways or in building operations, effective from 1st October 2022.
